The Hemp Lifestyle Network co-founders Valerie Aloisio and Melissa Temple-Agosta were invited to take part in a ground-breaking event on February 24th as part of the pre-Oscar excitement in Los Angeles!  Over 150 A-list celebrities, actors,  comedians, performers, press, agents, influencers, directors, and producers came out to meet this dynamic duo and discover what Living the Hemp Lifestyle is all about!

Valerie Aloisio said “We featured Kannaway products at the event and gave our premier topical Kannaway Salve in a custom hemp gift bag to all participants, made CBD cocktails and discussed our opportunity and mission to help raise awareness of CBD and educate on sustainable hemp oil products.  It was the most incredible experience to see the response from a segment of our population that “sees it all” and could be jaded at this point regarding cannabis.  That was far from the truth!  We had so much fun with them all, talking about CBD and hemp and the national landscape of it all in some cases, the celebrities voicing their strong opinions about the need for this in our society and the craziness of the fact that it is still being demonized by many who misunderstand it.”

Many of the guests are extremely interested in their ability to help entrepreneurs start their own businesses in the legal cannabis industry.  “We shared the incredible opportunity we have to  empower others with better health through CBD education and our product offering;  and WEALTH through teaching the skills necessary to create a legacy company for future generations”  comments Melissa Temple-Agosta.  “It was the coolest experience to see the support and reaction from the other vendors, celebrities, and press about our company.  Some of them want to join our business and help us in our endeavor, which is the best possible result that can come from doing an event like this!”

The creative team from Kevin Clark Art- who created our new website, logos, and all marketing materials also photographed all of the attendees during our event.  Their impressive display grabbed the attention of everyone, introducing them all to the exciting world of hemp and CBD .   www.KevinClarkArt.com

This event raised money and support for Wednesday’s Child via Fox 11 News in Los Angeles.  A hot topic at the Hemp Lifestyle Network booth was the charitable organization ECHO Connection, which raises awareness of CBD education and provides financial assistance given to those in need of cannabinoid therapies.  “Many of the celebrities we met have their own important charitable causes that they support and feel strongly about, so a common thread we found was the need to help give back to society and spread the word- for us, it’s the ECHO connection!”.  Visit  www.echoconnection.org for more information.

Some of the celebrities educated at the Hemp Lifestyle Network booth were:  Anita Pointer, Aylam Orian, Bob Bergen, Bruce Dern, Camila Banus, Carol Conners, Christine Devine, Christopher McDonald, Dot Marie Jones, Felix Solis, Hal Sparks, Jake Allyn, Jake Busey, Jillian Estelle, Joe Mantagna, Joely Fisher, Jon Mack, Juan Pablo Di Pace, Judy Tenuta, Lester Speight, Lizzy Small, Marcus Rosner, Michael Campion, Naomi Grossman, Patrika Darbo, Rachel Sterling, Rex Lee, Richard Grieco, Steven Bauer, Susan Anton, Tristan Rogers, Vincent Spano, Viola Davis, Greta Gerwig, Dean Geyer, Diego Valdez, Farrah Abraham.

Because of how well received Hemp Lifestyle Network was at this event, they will be participating in future charitable and industry events within the Hollywood community.

Making a decision to do an event in “uncharted territory” like Hollywood, is quite an endeavor!  We spent a lot of time on properly promoting the event and preparing the most professional visuals and materials possible for this discerning crowd.   We now know that people everywhere from all walks of life, even the most famous, need hemp in their lives!
